Facts about lice:
Head lice are spread by head to head to contact
They can’t jump or fly
Adult lice are grayish-white or tan and about the size of a sesame seed
Nymphs (baby lice) are smaller and can be black, clear or blood red. They sometimes resemble pepper.
Lice eggs, called nits, are tiny yellow, tan or brown dots that stick to one side of the hair shaft.
Adult lice can only survive for about 12-24 hours without feeding on human blood from the scalp.
Nymphs (baby lice) can only survive for about 2 hours without feeding.

How long does lice removal take?
Most appointments are approximately 2 hours based on the type of hair. We utilize a strand by strand method to ensure that all lice are removed. Thicker, longer hair takes longer to get through.
